What day is it again?

Life since having Danny has been a bit of a blur because everything is kind of the same. Sleep. Eat. Feed Danny. Change diapers. We had his two week doctors appointment today and he is doing good, and we are happy about that. I have had fun taking pictures of him because I think he is the cutest thing ever. Here are some of the pictures.
This was his first bath. He didn't like it very much.

Luckily my mom was there to help with the first bath. It is a lot easier with an extra set of hands.
I gave him another bath and couldn't resist taking more pictures of him in his duck towel.

Ashley came over and brought Dean because I needed some moral support and to interact with another adult. She took this picture of Danny staring at his cousin. I think they are going to be good friends.
I took a few pictures of Danny to try capture some of the funny faces he makes. I like the hand under his chin in this one.

Human baby or turtle baby?

This is his pirate face. It is pretty funny to see him make this face when he is really upset because his face gets all scrunched up and he looks even more like a pirate.

I just remembered this and thought I should write it down because it was pretty impressive. At the doctor we found out that Daniel has a yeast infection thing on his bum, so we got some stuff that we are supposed to use and we are supposed to let his bum dry out before putting on a new diaper to help with the infection. We decided that we would give him a bath and then let him dry off so he was nice and clean for when we put the ointment on his bum this first time. As I was cleaning off his poopy buns he started to pee and got himself right in the face before I was able to cover the stream. After that as Jon was carrying the naked kid to the tub Daniel peed again right on Jon. And last but not least when he was in the tub and I was washing him off he peed again and this time hit me with the stream. Pretty amazing is all I can say.

Being a mom has been stressful and exhausting at times, but our little boy is worth it and I love him a ton.
