The title of this post is a direct quote from Jon, and he was very correct. Before I get to that I need to do some catching up. I have been meaning to put pictures from Danny's Birthday up here since--his birthday. So we will start with that.
I think Danny liked his birthday and especially his birthday parties.
He was a big fan of the cake I made for him.
Michael the house elf even helped clean up all of the cake Danny dropped all over the floor.
Danny is looking a little too intrigued by that candle.
He tried to pick up the frosting with his fingers at first,
but that wasn't near fast enough.
He even shared a bite of cake with mom.
After having Christmas to practice Danny did pretty good with the presents.
Thanks Grandmas, Grandpas, Uncles, Aunts and Cousins for all the presents!
So Danny's Birthday was good and we all had a lot of fun. Now on to the not so cute reason that Jon said he felt a blog post coming on. As spring has started to get here my mind turns to planting seeds and growing my little vegetable garden. I decided that we should get some more dirt and compost stuff to add to our little garden boxes. We went over to the IFA and grabbed some stuff and then came home and started unloading. I thought it would be a good idea to find something to mix up our dirt ingredients in so I grabbed the wheelbarrow that was upside-down by the back porch and guess what I found when I tipped it over.
Yeah, I kind of freaked out and told Jon to smash it. Rather than smashing it immediately he went and grabbed the camera and took some pictures. After taking pictures he smashed it and no one was bitten, but I have that nasty creepy crawly feeling and am worried about more spiders outside that did not get smashed. I think we might look in to having someone come and spray around the outside of our house, but I don't know how that works with having a baby. Blech. Well I guess we have a nasty spider to thank for finally getting me to put up the Birthday pictures of Danny; Nasty spider you did not die in vain.
